Surrounded on two sides by a wooded ravine, the project is a joint venture between Toronto Community Housing (TCH) and Tridel to replace the existing TCH housing stock on the site while adding a new residential condominium building along the southern edge.

The terraced form of the condominium building minimizes shadows onto neighbouring properties while providing generous outdoor living spaces. Mimicking the terraced profile of the building, a zig-zag pattern of perforated aluminum panels encloses the balconies on the sides of the building.

A new internal public road connects the site to Leslie Street and is flanked by playgrounds and landscaped open spaces. The road leads to a drop-off for the condominium building that also functions as a pedestrian connection to the ravine.

A generous landscaped setback along Leslie Street mitigates the height of the development and provides a buffer to the low-rise neighbourhood to the east. A secondary entrance in the southeast corner provides convenient access to Leslie Street and leads to the buildings’ interior amenities which are arranged to overlook the ravine.
